Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • a dash of seasoning salt
  • black pepper to taste
  • cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 small onion, chopped fine
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small jar mushrooms (optional)
  • a dash of garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • Fritos or other chips

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the cooked ground beef and onion with tomato sauce, cream cheese, ketchup, Parmesan cheese, mushrooms (if using), seasoning salt, garlic salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and oregano.
  3. Stir until the cream cheese melts and the mixture is heated through; do not boil.
  4. Serve warm in a chafing dish or small crock-pot with Fritos or other chips.
