Hot Turnip Green Dip

Ingredients
- 10 oz. frozen chopped turnip greens, thawed
- 1/4 tsp. grated lemon rind ⓘ
- 1/2 cup chopped (fine) celery ⓘ
- 2 1/2 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained ⓘ
- 10 3/4 oz. can cream of mushroom soup ⓘ
- 6 oz. roll process cheese food with garlic ⓘ
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 5 drops hot sauce ⓘ
- 1/2 cup chopped (fine) onion ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. melted oleo ⓘ
Instructions
- Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add well drained and thawed greens; add lemon rind.
- Process until finely chopped.
- Cook onion and celery in butter over medium heat, stirring constantly, until tender.
- Stir in greens, mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, process cheese food, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and melted oleo.
- Cook over medium heat until all ingredients are well mixed and melted together.
- Serve from a chafing dish.
