Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion
  • bacon grease
  • 1/4 lb. sausage
  • 3 or 4 c. chicken, cooked
  • some pork, cooked
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 3 or 4 potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. bay leaf powder
  • 1/2 tsp. sage
  • some shrimp

Instructions

  1. Cook potatoes and carrots together.
  2. Brown sausage and onion; add meats (except shrimp), vegetables and seasonings.
  3. Cook slowly about 1 1/2 hours.
  4. Add shrimp last 5 minutes of cooking time. Serve over rice with barbecue bread and green salad.
