Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 3 1/2 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Divide the dough into three equal portions to form 8-inch rolls.
  2. Wrap each roll in plastic wrap and chill in the icebox or freezer until firm.
  3. When ready to bake, slice the chilled rolls into cookies.
