Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together.
  3. Add honey, bananas, and eggs; mix well.
  4. Sift dry ingredients together and fold into banana mixture.
  5. Fold in nuts and optional orange zest.
  6. Grease baking pan or muffin tins.
  7. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. If you bake this in muffin tins, it's about 20 minutes. It is done when toothpick comes out clean.
