A savory Japanese-inspired beef and vegetable stir-fry with soy sauce, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, and aromatics, perfect for a quick, flavorful meal over rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 small can green beans
  • 1 small can bamboo shoots
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • shake of liquid smoke
  • shake of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small can water chestnuts

Instructions

  1. Add browned ground beef, sautéed onion, celery, green beans, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, and dissolved chicken bouillon to a pot.
  2. Pour in soy sauce, add a shake of liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Cook until hot and flavors meld.
  4. Serve over steamed rice.
