Jerk Chili
Ingredients
- 3 lbs Ground Beef ⓘ
- 1 lb Ground Pork ⓘ
- 1 lb Chopped Bacon ⓘ
- 8 Cloves Garlic Minced ⓘ
- 2 Large Onions Chopped ⓘ
- 1 Red Pepper Chopped ⓘ
- 1 Green Pepper Chopped ⓘ
- 3 Large Cans Tomatoes ⓘ
- 2 Cans Kidney Beans - rinsed & drained ⓘ
- 2 Cans Black Beans - rinsed & drained ⓘ
- 1 Large Can Pumpkin ⓘ
- 1 Can Beef Broth ⓘ
- 1 Cup Dark Rum ⓘ
- 1 tsp Tabasco ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp Onion Powder ⓘ
- 1 tsp Cayenne ⓘ
- 1 Serrano Chili ⓘ
- 1 Habanero Chili ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder ⓘ
- 2Tbsp Cumin ⓘ
- 1 tsp White Pepper ⓘ
- 1/3 Cup Chili Powder ⓘ
- 2Tbsp Allspice ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon ⓘ
- 1 tsp Ginger ⓘ
- 1 tsp Nutmeg ⓘ
Instructions
- Render bacon. Cook Garlic and Onion until soft. Brown Meat. Add all the ingredients except beans. Simmer for 1 1/2 hour. Add beans. Add liquid as necessary. Adjust Seasoning.
