Ingredients

  • 2 cornbread kits
  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3/4 cup onion
  • 3/4 cup celery
  • 3/4 cup bell pepper
  • 4 boiled eggs
  • 1 quart chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Sauté onion, celery, and bell pepper in butter until tender.
  2. Prepare cornbread kits according to package instructions.
  3. Mix the cooked cornbread, sautéed vegetables, and boiled eggs.
  4. Combine with chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup, and cream of chicken soup.
  5. Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1.5 hours, avoiding overcooking.
