Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or fat
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground pork or sausage
  • 8 large onions, sliced
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pound sliced mushrooms
  • 1 bunch celery leaves
  • 2 green peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 pound sharp cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Cook onions, fat, and ground pork together until browned.
  2. Add tomato paste, water, sliced mushrooms, celery leaves, green peppers, and shredded cheese.
  3. Simmer for 15 minutes to create a rich sauce.
  4. Serve over cooked egg noodles.
