Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crabmeat
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 2 dashes hot pepper sauce (Tabasco)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients, except bread crumbs, in a mixing bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into cakes and roll each in bread crumbs.
  3. Fry the crab cakes until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Drain on absorbent paper before serving.
