Tips & Substitutions

For extra flavor, consider adding Old Bay seasoning or a dash of hot sauce to the crab mixture. If you prefer a lighter option, you can substitute Greek yogurt for some of the mayonnaise. Ensure the bread is stale or lightly toasted to absorb the egg mixture better without becoming soggy. This dish can be made ahead of time, similar to the Deluxe Tuna Casserole, for even better flavor development.

Serving Suggestions

Serve Kadiah Crab warm, garnished with fresh herbs like parsley or chives for added color. This dish pairs beautifully with a light salad, such as Shrimp And Pea Salad, or steamed vegetables. For a complete meal, consider serving it alongside crusty bread or a side of coleslaw to balance the richness of the crab.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the dish in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 20-25 minutes or until heated through. You may also microwave individual portions on medium power for 1-2 minutes, checking frequently to avoid overheating.
