- 1 c. sliced celery ⓘ
- 1 c. sliced carrots ⓘ
- 2 cloves garlic ⓘ
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce ⓘ
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans ⓘ
- 2 c. water ⓘ
- 3 beef bouillon cubes ⓘ
- 1 tsp. parsley ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. sweet basil ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper ⓘ
- 2 c. shredded cabbage ⓘ
- 1 c. frozen green beans ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown the ground meat in a large pot.
- Add diced onion, sliced celery, sliced carrots, and minced garlic; cook until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the can of tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, water, beef bouillon cubes, parsley, salt, oregano, basil, and black pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.
- Add shredded cabbage and frozen green beans to the soup.
- Continue cooking until the vegetables and macaroni are tender.
