Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shoyu
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 thumb-sized pieces fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 1 tablespoon ground toasted sesame seed
  • 1/4 cup green onion, minced

Instructions

  1. Marinate the meat in the prepared marinade for at least 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
  2. Use approximately 1/2 cup shoyu, 1/4 cup sesame oil, 1/3 cup honey, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 3 grated ginger pieces, 3 minced garlic cloves, 1/4 cup mirin, 1 tablespoon ground toasted sesame seed, and 1/4 cup minced green onion to make the marinade.
