Ingredients

  • 2 boxes lima beans, cooked
  • 1 can celery soup
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 6 oz. shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Brown the chopped onion and green pepper in margarine.
  2. Cook the lima beans until tender and then drain.
  3. Add the cooked peppers, onions, and celery soup to the lima beans.
  4. Place the mixture in a greased casserole dish.
  5. Cover with bread crumbs and shredded cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
