Ingredients

  • 8 oz. linguine
  • 4 to 6 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup Romano cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 bunch chopped parsley
  • 1/4 lb. mushrooms
  • 1 lb. shrimp

Instructions

  1. Peel and clean the shrimp.
  2. Smash and dice the garlic.
  3. Brown the garlic in unsalted butter.
  4. Chop the parsley.
  5. Slice the mushrooms and stir them into the warm butter.
  6. Add coarsely chopped shrimp to the skillet.
  7. Cook until the shrimp turn pink, then stir in the parsley.
  8. Pour the shrimp and sauce mixture over hot cooked linguine.
  9. Add Romano cheese, salt, and pepper to taste.
