Ingredients

  • 8 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 12 cup chopped dried apricot
  • 12 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 12 cups packed brown sugar
  • 12 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the oats, raisins, apricots and cranberries; set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, Honey, water, Maple syrup and salt.
  3. Cook and stir over medium heat for 3-4 minutes or until brown sugar is dissolved.
  4. Remove from the heat; stir in and vanilla.
  5. Pour over oat mixture; stir to coat.
  6. Transfer to two greased 15-in.
  7. x 10-in.
  8. x 1-in.
  9. baking pans.
  10. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until crisp, stirring every 10 minutes.
  11. Cool completely on wire racks.
  12. Store in an airtight container.
  13. Serve with milk or yogurt.
  14. Yield: 9 cups.
