Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion or flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 10 oz. jar peach preserves
  • 2/3 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, eggs, chopped onion or flakes, parsley flakes, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Mix the ingredients lightly until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs.
  4. Brown the meatballs in margarine and drain excess fat.
  5. Place the browned meatballs in a casserole dish.
  6. Combine peach preserves and barbecue sauce in a bowl, then pour over the meatballs.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
