Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 pounds cubed beef
  • cherry tomatoes
  • fresh mushrooms
  • green or sweet red peppers
  • onions
  • zucchini
  • potatoes, parboiled

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients except meat and vegetables in a blender; mix well.
  2. Pour marinade over meat and vegetables; let marinate for 4 hours or longer.
  3. Thread marinated meat and vegetables onto skewers.
  4. Brush with additional marinade before grilling.
  5. Grill over medium-hot coals, turning and basting often, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until meat and vegetables are done.
  6. Serve with rice.
