Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground ham
  • 1 lb. fresh pork
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar

Instructions

  1. Combine ground ham, ground pork, eggs, bread crumbs, milk, and dissolved baking powder; form into one or two loaves.
  2. Make a paste with dry mustard, brown sugar, flour, and vinegar; spread this mixture on top of the loaf.
  3. Place pineapple slices on top of the loaf.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 1/2 hours.
