Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked rice
  • 2 large onions
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/3 cup celery leaves
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound fresh or frozen shrimp

Instructions

  1. Cook rice; cool or chill.
  2. Saute onions in margarine.
  3. Add beef and cooked rice; brown lightly.
  4. Add celery leaves, curry powder, dry mustard, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and shrimp.
  5. Cook only long enough to heat through.
