Ingredients

  • 1 box jumbo shells
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup flavored bread crumbs
  • 4 oz Mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 3/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 32 oz spaghetti sauce
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the jumbo shells according to the package directions; drain well.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  3. Mix the cooked meat, eggs, bread crumbs, mozzarella cheese, chopped onion, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fill each cooked shell with the meat filling.
  5. Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  6. Arrange the filled shells in the baking dish with the open side up.
  7. Pour the remaining spaghetti sauce over the shells.
  8. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
