Meat Pie Triangle

- Heat oil in a pan.
- Lightly brown the hamburger, breaking it up with a fork as it cooks.
- Transfer the cooked meat to a bowl using a slotted spoon.
- Save 2 tablespoons of fat in the pan to cook the onion and garlic until soft.
- Add the onion, garlic, tomato paste, oregano, cinnamon, salt, and pepper to the pan. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring to blend.
- Stir the mixture into the cooked meat in the bowl and let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Beat in the beaten egg, Parmesan cheese, and minced parsley.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto each triangle and fold to form pockets.
- Bake according to crescent roll package instructions until golden brown.
