Tips & Substitutions

For a quicker meal, use pre-cooked ground beef or substitute with turkey or plant-based meat alternatives. You can add black beans or corn for extra flavor and nutrition. If you prefer more spice, increase the chili powder or add jalapeños. Serve with a side of Taco Tossed Salad for a refreshing contrast to the warm tacos.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the tacos immediately for the best texture, but they also make a great party dish. Pair with a side of guacamole and tortilla chips for a complete meal. For a twist, serve with a bowl of Santa Fe Stew, which complements the flavors well and adds variety to your table.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, microwave the taco filling until hot, about 1-2 minutes, and then assemble fresh tacos with new toppings to maintain crunchiness. Taco shells can be stored separately to avoid sogginess.
