Ingredients

  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 3 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  3. In a small bowl, stir together coffee, orange extract, and water until coffee is dissolved.
  4. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine sour cream, white sugar, brown sugar, milk, and eggs.
  6. Add the coffee mixture to the wet ingredients and beat well.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients and softened butter, mixing until well blended.
  8. Stir in chopped pecans and mini chocolate chips.
  9. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  10. Bake for 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
