- Mix cold strong coffee with butter until you get a good mocha color.
- Work powdered sugar, egg yolks, and chopped walnuts into the butter and coffee mixture.
- Line the sides and bottom of a deep Pyrex loaf pan with ladyfingers.
- Layer the ingredients in the following order: egg mixture, ladyfingers, egg mixture, and ladyfingers.
- Ensure the top layer is ladyfingers.
- Fill the loaf pan to the top with the layered mixture.
- Freeze overnight.
- To serve, slice the loaf with a sharp knife.
