- In a large plastic bag, mix all dry ingredients: baking powder, baking soda, garlic salt, paprika, celery salt, flour, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper.
- In a shallow dish, beat eggs, milk, and crushed garlic until well combined.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan with a cover until hot, about 325°F or medium-low heat.
- Dredge the chicken legs in the dry mixture, then dip into the egg mixture, and repeat if desired for extra coating.
- Carefully place the coated chicken legs into the hot oil.
- Fry the chicken, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through, about 20 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
