Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pitted dates
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Instructions
