Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 small bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can Ranch Style beans
  • 1 can tomatoes, broken up or mashed
  • 1 small can Ro-Tel
  • 1/2 cup water
  • chili powder to taste
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot, drain the fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and chopped bell pepper; cook until vegetables are tender.
  3. Add the drained whole kernel corn, Ranch Style beans, broken-up or mashed tomatoes, Ro-Tel, water, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Simmer the mixture for at least 20 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with cornbread, rolls, or crackers.
