Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 pounds ground chuck
  • 3 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 or 2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • salt or seasoned salt to taste
  • 1/2 pound grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (12 oz) package medium egg noodles
  • 3/4 cup chopped green peppers

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions and drain.
  2. Saute chopped onions in butter until soft.
  3. Add ground chuck to the onions and cook until browned.
  4. Add chopped green peppers, tomato sauce, drained corn, chili powder, and salt; stir well.
  5. Combine the meat mixture with the cooked noodles in a large baking dish.
  6. Top with grated Cheddar cheese and cover the dish.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour until hot and bubbly.
