Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 12 oz. mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Saute the chopped onion in butter until soft.
  2. Chop the mushrooms into small pieces until mixture is spreadable.
  3. Sprinkle the mushrooms with a pinch of salt and mix well.
  4. Mix the cream cheese with Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder or chopped garlic.
  5. Spread the cheese mixture on slices of bread and make sandwiches.
  6. Cut the sandwiches into serving-size pieces.
  7. Grill the pieces like grilled cheese sandwiches until golden.
  8. Cut into fourths or larger pieces as desired and serve.
