Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2/3 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 c. pumpkin
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Mix together the sugar, brown sugar, flour, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. Add the pumpkin, beaten eggs, melted butter, and milk to the dry ingredients.
  3. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Pour the filling into an unbaked pie crust in a deep dish or large pie pan.
  5. Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes.
  6. Reduce oven temperature to 375°F and continue baking for 45 minutes.
