Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup green pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 egg
  • pineapple rings

Instructions

  1. Combine ground turkey, green pepper, chopped onion, teriyaki sauce, bread crumbs, ginger, red pepper, and egg in a large bowl.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Form the mixture into burger patties.
  4. Cook the burgers on a grill or skillet over medium heat for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, place a pineapple ring on top of each burger to warm and caramelize slightly.
  6. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
