Ingredients

  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 8 oz. dairy sour cream
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 3/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1 clove garlic, mashed
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 12 oz. wide egg noodles
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar

Instructions

  1. Combine cream cheese and sour cream; set aside.
  2. Brown ground chuck in margarine; add chopped onions, mashed garlic, salt, sugar, black pepper, and tomato sauce.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
  4. Cook wide egg noodles according to package directions; drain.
  5. Serve the meat sauce over cooked noodles and top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
