Ingredients

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.
  2. Mix well until ingredients are fully blended.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Stir in oats, chocolate chips, and raisins.
  6. Let the batter stand for 5 to 10 minutes.
  7. Drop teaspoon-sized portions of batter onto greased baking sheets.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  9. Remove from oven immediately and let cool slightly before transferring.
