Ingredients

  • 3 cups oatmeal
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups oil

Instructions

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Mix all wet ingredients in another bowl.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just moistened.
  4. Drop the dough onto a cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for about 12 to 15 minutes.
