Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 5 boned chicken breasts
  • 3/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, celery salt, nutmeg, salt, and garlic salt together and place in a small paper bag.
  2. Shake each chicken breast in the bag to coat, then brown well in a small amount of oil.
  3. Drain any excess oil from the pan.
  4. Mix pineapple juice, soy sauce, and sugar together.
  5. Pour the mixture over the chicken, cover, and simmer until tender, about 20 to 30 minutes.
  6. Garnish with drained crushed pineapple before serving.
