Pasta With Cod

A hearty pasta dish featuring tender cod, rich tomato sauce, and aromatic herbs, perfect for seafood lovers and family dinners alike.

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • small amount of cooking oil
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1 small can of tomato sauce
  • 2 or 3 stalks of celery
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oregano
  • 1 lb. cod
  • 2 cups spiral noodles
  • grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Saute onion and garlic in cooking oil until fragrant.
  2. Add canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, cubed celery, salt, pepper, and oregano. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add diced cod and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Layer half of the cooked spiral noodles in a baking dish.
  5. Top with half of the tomato and cod sauce. Repeat layers with remaining noodles and sauce.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and return to oven for a few minutes until melted and bubbly.
