Ingredients

  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. oats
  • 1 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 c. shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Cream shortening and sugar, and beat in eggs.
  2. Add dry ingredients.
  3. Add oats, cereal and coconut.
  4. Drop on greased cookie sheets and pat down with glass that is coated with powdered sugar.
  5. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
