Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup pecan meal
  • 1/2 cup gluten or barley flour
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Add cold water and soy sauce to the dry mixture and stir until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a sprayed can or mold.
  4. Cover the can or mold securely with foil.
  5. Place the prepared can in a crock-pot with 1 inch of water.
  6. Steam on high for 4 hours until firm.
