Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb sausage
  • 1 (No. 2) can cream-style corn
  • 1 can chicken with rice soup
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 to 2 cups buttered bread crumbs
  • 1 green pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni in boiling water for 15 minutes, then drain.
  2. Chop green pepper and onion, then boil slowly in a small amount of water until tender and water evaporates.
  3. Add ground beef and sausage to the vegetable mixture, cooking slowly and stirring until crumbly.
  4. Combine the meat and vegetable mixture with cooked macaroni, cream-style corn, and chicken with rice soup, mixing well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish.
  6. Cover with buttered bread crumbs.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes or until the bread crumbs are brown and crisp.
