Persimmons Pudding(Steamed)

- Mix persimmon pulp, sugar, egg, and milk in a bowl.
- Sift together flour, salt, soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a separate bowl.
- Add melted butter and chopped walnuts to the flour mixture and combine.
- Combine the persimmon mixture with the flour mixture until well blended.
- Pour the batter into a well-greased mold with a lid. If no lid is available, cover tightly with foil.
- Place the mold on a rack inside a kettle. Fill the kettle with water halfway up the mold.
- Cover the kettle and steam for 2 hours.
- Unmold the pudding onto a serving platter.
- Flame with warmed brandy if desired, and serve with Hard Sauce.
