Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar ⓘ
- 1 cup brown sugar ⓘ
- 1 cup butter or margarine ⓘ
- 1 cup Wesson oil ⓘ
- 1 egg
- pinch of salt ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon soda, mixed in 1 tablespoon sour milk ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar ⓘ
- 3 1/2 cups flour ⓘ
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 cup corn flakes ⓘ
- 1 cup coconut ⓘ
- 1/2 cup nuts (optional) ⓘ
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in the order given.
- Roll the mixture into balls.
- Flatten the balls with a small glass dipped in sugar.
- Bake in a 350°F oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
