Ingredients

  • 7 oz. macaroni
  • 1 qt. spaghetti sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. grated cheese
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. diced green pepper
  • 1/2 c. onion
  • 4 oz. mushrooms
  • 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the macaroni according to package instructions and drain.
  2. In a bowl, beat the egg, milk, grated cheese, and salt until well combined.
  3. Mix the cooked macaroni with the beaten mixture and the ground beef, green pepper, onion, and mushrooms.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 11 x 13-inch baking pan.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
