A savory meat-filled bread loaf packed with pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, cheese, green chilies, and vegetables, perfect for hearty gatherings or casual family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick pepperoni
  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 2 to 3 lb. ground beef
  • 2 cans green chili peppers
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 to 3/4 lb. Velveeta
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 to 2 cans sliced mushrooms
  • 2 to 3 loaves bread dough

Instructions

  1. Cut the pepperoni into small pieces.
  2. Cook the pepperoni, ground beef, and sausage in a large skillet.
  3. Drain off all grease.
  4. Add green chili peppers, Cheddar cheese, Velveeta, chopped onion, and sliced mushrooms to the skillet.
  5. Cook until the cheese is melted and the onions are tender.
  6. When the dough has thawed, roll it out along the length of a long cookie sheet.
  7. Spoon the filling down the middle of the dough and close it by wrapping the dough around the filling.
  8. Bake at 350°F until the bread is light brown.
  9. Cook immediately after filling the loaf; do not let the bread rise.
