Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Polish or smoked sausage
  • 8 potatoes
  • 1/2 lb. carrots
  • 1/2 stalk celery
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 can butter beans
  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can chopped okra

Instructions

  1. Dice all vegetables including potatoes, carrots, celery, and canned ingredients.
  2. Add the diced vegetables and canned items to a large pot.
  3. Cook for approximately 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. If desired, thicken the soup by stirring in 1/2 cup flour mixed with water during cooking.
