Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes, cut in fourths
  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, salt, paprika, and pepper together in a shallow dish.
  2. Dip the pork chops into the dry mixture to coat thoroughly.
  3. Brown the coated pork chops in hot shortening until golden on both sides.
  4. Place the browned pork chops into a greased casserole dish on top of the cut potatoes.
  5. In a bowl, mix the mushroom soup, prepared mustard, and milk until well combined.
  6. Pour the soup mixture over the pork chops and potatoes in the casserole dish.
  7. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 75 minutes.
  8. Uncover the casserole during the last 30 minutes of baking to brown the top if desired.
