Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cups sliced potatoes
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 can cheese soup
  • 1 can milk
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • dash garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 6 oz sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a frying pan.
  2. Place the sliced potatoes and onion in a greased 9 x 11-inch baking pan.
  3. Spread the cooked ground beef over the potatoes and onions.
  4. Stir the cheese soup and milk together until combined.
  5. Pour the soup mixture over the beef and vegetables.
  6. Mix the tomato sauce with salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and garlic powder.
  7. Pour the seasoned tomato sauce over the ingredients in the pan.
  8. Dot the top with butter.
  9. Cover the pan with tinfoil and bake at 375°F for 1 hour.
  10. Uncover the dish and sprinkle the sliced Mozzarella cheese on top.
  11. Finally, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the cheese.
