Prairie Rice Dip
A hearty and flavorful dip combining seasoned ground beef, rice, vegetables, and cheese, perfect for parties or a satisfying main dish for rice lovers.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef ⓘ
- 2 c. cooked rice ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. bell pepper ⓘ
- 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. Louisiana hot sauce
- 1 (10 oz.) can Ro-Tel ⓘ
- 1 small can green chilies ⓘ
- 1 c. grated cheese ⓘ
- 1 jalapeno pepper ⓘ
- 1 c. sour cream ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef and drain excess fat.
- Saute the minced onion and bell pepper until tender.
- Add all remaining ingredients except sour cream to the beef mixture.
- Heat the mixture until hot, but do not boil.
- Just before serving, stir in the sour cream.
- Serve as a dip or as a main dish over extra rice.
