Prairie Rice Dip

A hearty and flavorful dip combining seasoned ground beef, rice, vegetables, and cheese, perfect for parties or a satisfying main dish for rice lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp. bell pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Louisiana hot sauce
  • 1 (10 oz.) can Ro-Tel
  • 1 small can green chilies
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1 jalapeno pepper
  • 1 c. sour cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and drain excess fat.
  2. Saute the minced onion and bell pepper until tender.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients except sour cream to the beef mixture.
  4. Heat the mixture until hot, but do not boil.
  5. Just before serving, stir in the sour cream.
  6. Serve as a dip or as a main dish over extra rice.
