Ingredients

  • 1 package Pillsbury Plus Butter Recipe cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons rum extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 (1.2 oz.) toffee candy bars, coarsely crushed
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix and softened butter at low speed until crumbly.
  3. Reserve 1 cup of the crumb mixture for topping.
  4. Press the remaining mixture into the bottom and 1.5 inches up the sides of an ungreased 9 or 10-inch spring-form pan.
  5. If necessary, use floured fingers to press the dough evenly in the pan.
