Ingredients

  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 carton cottage cheese
  • uncooked lasagne noodles
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and drain any excess fat.
  2. Mix the cooked beef with spaghetti sauce, drained mushrooms, and water.
  3. Layer in a 9 x 13-inch pan: meat sauce, uncooked lasagne noodles, cottage cheese, shredded mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese, beginning and ending with meat sauce.
  4. Sprinkle the top with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cover the pan tightly with heavy-duty foil.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
  7. Let stand for 15 to 20 minutes before removing the foil and serving.
